Another buyers falls victim to the VQ

After just a few days of ownership, the owners notice "smoke" coming out of the exhaust. After dedicating some time to "fix" the problem himself to no avail, he decided to drop off the at a Nissan Dealership.

So think twice before you decide to buy a G35.  Especially a used one. The VQ's are known for it's crappy rings and pistons. No wonder the future models will have a Mercedes motor!

There's a reason why you see a lot of G35's going for 10k or less.  Nice resale value there.  Looks nice out the outside, but full of shit on the inside.
