Infiniti G35 and the Nissan Maxima. Same motor, same parts?

Most informed owners are very aware that the VQ35De has a history of oil consumption and oil leaks. (Google it). There is a LONG history of oil consumptions on all cars using the same motor. From the Nissan Maxima to the Infiniti G35.

Also down the road, some owners at 70k are seeing oil leaking onto the spark plugs. (see video here). What should be a fairly inexpensive is actually rape. As you can see below. Because the spark plug gaskets are "Built-in", you cannot replace the gasket. Instead, you have to purchase a brand new valve cover.

What's interesting is, the Maxima and the G35 share the same exact motor. (VQ35DE). Yet the parts has a huge price difference. As you can see below.

Although several cars share the same exact motor, the valve cover design are "slightly" different. So it MAY or MAY NOT fit perfectly. It may fit on the engine perfectly, you may have trouble bolting the OEM plastic engine cover onto the valve cover.

Maybe an Aftermarket company can look into this and make an all metal valve cover with replaceable spark plug gaskets. @ $400 to purchase a plastic cover, I'm sure most owners are willing to pay $400 for an all metal version.

Quality right thur. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that the G35 and the Nissan fucking Maxima share the same motor? Luxury and Performance right thur. LOL

Guidos and Illegals

My car was almost clipped twice today at a parking lot. All within one minute from each other. WTF is up with these idiots speeding into a parking space? I know damn well they didn't have insurance so I was a bit scured. Learn how to fucking pull in too.


Was about to pull out of a parking space when I noticed this fucking Guido Jersey shore mother fucker pull in nearly clipped me. He stopped within inches and his dumb ass kept creeping forward. I had to move forward a couple inches to prevent this Jersey shore guido mother fucker from clipping me. As he pulled into the OTHER side of the spark space to "gangsta park" his 1992? BMW, I stepped out of my G to see if he caused any damages.


While checking out my car and looking at this dumb ass at the same time. I noticed that he looked exactly like "the situation" from the Jewelery shore. From his sunglasses to his Hawaiian shorts. Seeing that there were no damage, I went back into my car, when all of a sudden, this fucking illegal immigrant mother fucker pulls into right next to me in his rusty ass SUV with about 20 kids in it.


He too almost clipped the exact same spot the Guido mofo almost hit. (Rear right of the bumper). He then got out the car and I just mad dog his ass. Luckily he had the courtesy gently open his door and not create any door dings. I then proceeded to leave the lot before the 20 kids hopped out of the SUV.


Got damn illegals. Slow the fuck down. No one is going to steal your fucking parking space.

Infiniti / Nissan decides to get into the Ricer scene

WTF was Nissan thinking when they designed that ugly ass bumper? Check out the steps on the side of the car. I'm guessing this car is targeted at little people?

Looks like a black grill has replaced the chrome grills of previous models? They must be getting designs ques from G35ricers.com. I mean driver... What's next? Black Scion style roofs? 20" rims with bad offsets that has to be fixed with ebay bought wheel spacers? R32-33 taillight overlays? haha

The car looks like a puffer fish sitting on top of Legos.

This has to be one of the ugliest rear bumper I have ever seen from a stock car.
