The best Micro SD Card for Blackvue DR650GW-2CH Dash Cam
So I just purchased a Blackvue DR650GW-2CH dash cam for my G-Coupe. It came with a 16Gb card and it's way to small. I've overwritten some important videos that I forgot to save before it was overwritten. Decided to get a new SD card and after a couple of trials and error, it turns out that this cheap Lexar Micro SD Card is one of the best SD cards for our dash cams. Class Action against Nissan / Infiniti for Infiniti Q50 inTouch App
It's been over 2 years since the release of the Infiniti Q50 sedan. Since then, this car has been plagued with issues from the Electronic Steering known as (DAS), to the horrible smell inside the car and last but not least, the lack of the promised inTouch App that is way overdue. Customers who paid the $1,400 for the inTouch system are now feeling they overpaid for a car that was promised the goodies, but never received it.
One guy is taking it to courts. Who wants to join in on this?

Class Action Lawsuit against Nissan for the lack of inTouch App
Yesterday, a plaintiff filed a motion to certify a class action lawsuit alleging Nissan North America Inc.’s 2014 Infiniti Q50 vehicles lacked the features that were promised with the included InTouch telematics system. According to the Nissan class action lawsuit, Nissan released the 2014 Infiniti Q50 in the United States in August 2013. The luxury sedan was touted as having a wide variety of advanced technologies, including the ability to access apps through the InTouch system. The InTouch system would allow users to access mobile phone apps such as Facebook, Pandora, iHeartRadio and access their email and calendars. To use the InTouch system, users were required to download the Infiniti InTouch app onto their smartphones and obtain a software upgrade. However, the app was allegedly not available for at least a year after the Infiniti Q50’s release. “Contrary to these representations, until late-September 2014, at the earliest (if at all), purchasers and lessees of Q50s were unable to access the Advertised Apps/Functions through InTouch,” the class action lawsuit says. “And, even though [Nissan] has recently claimed to be releasing products to make the system operate as represented, the effort has been less than effective.” Plaintiff Leon Zingerman filed the Nissan class action lawsuit this week after he attempted to get the InTouch upgrade that would allow him to access his apps as promised. However, he claims the Infiniti dealership said it was unaware of the upgrade and did not know how long it would be before it was equipped to perform the upgrade. Zingerman alleges that, without the ability to use the InTouch feature, he received a vehicle that was worth less than he paid for and that did not perform as advertised. In making the decision to purchase the Infiniti Q50, Zingerman alleges he relied on Infiniti advertisements, the Infiniti website and representations made by the sales staff at the Infiniti dealership. The Infiniti class action lawsuit points to numerous complaints that have been posted online regarding the failed release of the InTouch app. “We were promised this app in Fall 2013, then December 2013, then they stopped talking about it altogether,” one reviewer wrote. “Now in September 2014 it is released and it is completely useless. … [N]one of the apps work. Ridiculous experience on the Q50.” Other reviewers expressed similar frustration. To make matters worse, the InTouch class action lawsuit alleges, Nissan failed to provide a reason for the delay of the app and has not offered any compensation or other benefits to the potential Class Members for the unavailability of the advertised app. The Infiniti InTouch app class action lawsuit seeks to hold Nissan accountable for violating the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the Illinois Consumer Fraud Act and breach of express warranty. Yesterday, Zingerman filed a motion to certify the InTouch class action lawsuit. He seeks to certify a Class of “All persons and entities that purchased or leased a 2014 Infiniti Q50 for end use and not for resale.”Monday, April 27, 2015

2016 Infiniti Q60 Teased Ahead Of Detroit Show
Automakers are prepping the new cars they'll introduce at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit next month, and Infiniti is teasing its plans for a new Q60 Coupe.
Infiniti will use next month’s 2015 Detroit Auto Show to unveil a striking new concept previewing its next-generation Q60 coupe. The Q60, for those still not up to date with Infiniti’s new naming strategy, is essentially the G coupe, whose last complete redesign was back in 2008.
This latest concept is said to build upon the design language seen on recent Infiniti concepts like the Q30 and Q80 Inspiration, however, Infiniti design chief Alfonso Albaisa has previously stated that the new Q60 concept will closely resemble the final production version of the car due out late next year, most likely as a 2016 model.
Shiro Nakamura, design chief for all Nissan brands, previously said the production Q60 will target the BMW 4-Series but will be slightly larger and feature a design influenced by the Q80 Inspiration. Other potential rivals for the new coupe include the Audi A5, Cadillac ATS Coupe, Lexus RC and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe.
The platform for the production Q60 is likely to be a shortened version of the rear-wheel-drive platform underpinning the Q50 sedan. A convertible is also planned.
It’s too early to talk powertrains but it’s possible we’ll see the new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 from the Q80 Inspiration offered in the car. There’s also the chance that a high-performance Eau Rouge version powered by the Nissan GT-R’s twin-turbo V-6 will be developed at some point.

Best Air Freshener for your car - Treefrog JDM Squash scent
This is the "JDM squash" scent that is popular in Japan and with Asians. The price off Amazon is actually comparable (and sometimes cheaper) than my local Japanese supermarket, Don Quixote.
This particular air freshener is a more solid gel type, in a plastic tray. The plastic tray has holes in it for the scent to come through. There isn't any adjustment like the very popular CS-X3 air freshener, but the scent of this lasts far longer. It definitely starts out really strong, but after a day or two, mellows out. The tray can be placed on the floor under the seat, even though it comes with some double sided tape to stick somewhere. The gel is solid enough to not spill. There are some other gel type air fresheners that are really wet, but this is not one of them.
For the price, this lasts a lot longer than the CS-X3, which is why I switched over to this. Even opening a single vent on the CS-X3, this far outlasts it. Of course, both are gel type air fresheners, the CS-X3 is a lot more dry, however. I think living in the heat of Hawaii accelerates the rate that air fresheners dry up, especially when I park my car in the sun at work. The heat just dries it up, so if you live in a hot area, you might want to try one of these. The scent lasts a little over a month in the high heat - the CS-X3 only lasts about 2 weeks for me. When I lived in California, I originally used the CS-X3 and it lasted a fairly long time. They don't stand up to the heat of Hawaii very well, which is why I'm glad I found this. If this lasts well over a month in the heat, I'm pretty sure the scent will stay for far longer if you are in a cool environment.
One last thing - I tend to alternate between this product and Smooth Cologne Air Freshener - Light Squash Fragnance since they are very similar products, besides the look of the tray. The Black Squash is a little stronger smell, the Marine Squash Treefrog is almost identical to Light Squash. At my local supermarket, one of the two is normally on sale so I will get whatever is cheaper, but on Amazon, it seems this one is consistently cheaper. Compare the prices and get whichever one is cheaper. The difference between the two is minimal.
