Ok, here we have a guy with plenty of disposable income, but horrible taste. The G35 has one of the sexiest lines and curve of any car, yet this guy decides to change the lines and replace the bumpers with some fiberglass pos, mismatched color scheme and some carbon fiber parts.
Check me out son. I gots them Carbon Fiber hood, fenders and door panels. That means it lighter and my car will go faster because of that. You just don't know. Check out my hood son. See the vents? This is called water cooled son. When it rains, the water be chillin my engine and my turbo, you just don't know! The Carbon Fiber increases my HP by 24.25%. Thats why I can't paint it because you won't know it's carbon fiber and that my car is faster because of it. If you don't believe me, go online and find out son. Don't race me though, cause my car is to fast right now. You won't be able to see me.
Yo check out my vents son. They be ill aight? They actually don't serve any purpose for my application because my the fenders be venting, but my firewall ain't gots no hole for the heat to dissipate son. They just for show and the sales guy online told me it would increase my HP by 3%.

actually asshole the vents do serve a purpose..read up on it, by allowing heat to escape you actually gain about 2whp...not much but shows how much you know...ohh yeah they're not door panells either..they're CF doors..and i lost nearly 500lbs on the complete weight reduction
I dont think that he bought the hood for any other reason besides the way it looks.I think the guy that wrote this is nothing but a classic nut swinger that does what ever one else does to there car to his and then talks shit about other guys cars on the internet.WAY TO GO TARZAN...your a cool guy

And that vent on the fenders serves no purpose. The firewall of the G35 is not "vented". Unless the owner of the G35 DRILLED the holes to let the engine heat exit out thru the fenders. WHICH I DOUBT!
3 years late but you are a douche. The vents are not to increase HP but instead are supposed to serve as a heat extrator for the good brakes. If you really knew anything about track racing you would know this. If his car was set up for racing on the track he would make sure he had some air leading to his brakes as well to provide them with cooler air while driving hard and the vent serves as a release of the heat. As far as the color scheme, it may not appeal to you, but it's not your car. It wasn't built for you.
