G35 driver ask, "are we going to do it or what". EVO driver then smokes him

G35, nice car? Yes. Should you race with it? No.

And the sad part, the EVO driver wasn't even trying.

At least 13 deaths caused by Chrysler Transmission problem.

But hey, lets keep picking on Toyota for making cars that get 50+ to the tank...

------------

Chrysler Transmission Problems

There have been hundreds of accidents where people suffered debilitating physical injuries when the Chrysler vehicle suddenly moved into reverse. It is likely that at least 13 people have died as a result of the defect. Chrysler has refused to accept legal responsibility for these injuries. Instead, it regularly blames the driver for the accident and denies its vehicle was defective.

Dakota, Durango, Ram, Neon, Grand Caravan and Jeep Grand Cherokee Park to Reverse Defect

While we are interested in learning of park to reverse and transmission issues in vehicles of any make, model or year, whether or not the vehicle was manufactured by Chrysler. We have profiled and have extensive experience litigating park-to-reverse cases involving the following DaimlerChrysler vehicles:

* Dodge Dakota
* Dodge Durango
* Dodge Ram
* Jeep Grand Cherokee
* Dodge Neon
* Dodge Grand Caravan

In addition, we have and are presently representing individuals injured by Ford vehicles with similar park-to-reverse problems to those found in certain Chrysler vehicles. The above list is a list of vehicles that have been recalled and/or investigated for alleged park to reverse problems and is not meant to imply these are the only vehicles which may have this problem.

Infiniti G35 needs motor replaced @ 70k miles

The owner of this G35 was complaining about his G35 making "clanking" noises upon cold starts. Several members insisted that this was "normal" operating noise and that we should expect a powerful and super duper fast sports car to make some type of noise. The louder the noise, the faster the car is right?

After insisting that the spark plug gasket be replaced, Infinti Techs accidentally discovered that the motor was SHIT. When they removed the valve cover to replace the bad gaskets (will cost you about $700+ if you're out of warranty), the tech noticed that traces of metal shavings were found all over the motor.

So what many described as "normal operating noise", was actually a main bearing failure and the long block had to be replaced.

Nice quality from Infinti. So far, we know that a lot of the rev-up burns oil, most of the G's have window motor going bad, and now these Automatic Coupe also had to get his long block replaced due to an engine bearing failure.

So if your car is making some weird noise. Get it checked before your warranty is up. Don't listen to those idiots trying to play it off as "normal" start-up noise". "You drive a G35 son, it's not suppose to be quiet, so what if it's engine is clanking and your window motor don't work". It's normal.
