My G35 sucks. But this wax has to be the most underrated wax on the market. I have tried several over-the-counter wax out there. From Meguiar's NXT, Gold Class, Eagle Nano Wax, Turtle Wax, etc etc. None of those offered the same High Gloss Finish and ease of use as this Carnauba Wax by Mothers.
When I first used this wax, I noticed the difference right away. It was easy to wipe on and wipe off and they shine was simply amazing. Even my co-workers noticed the difference. They all said "wow, you're car is really shiny, did you just get it detailed?". Anyone with a black car should try this wax. You won't be disappointed.
All of the other Synthetic / Nano wax I have used was a pain in the ass to use. It was easy to apply and wipe off but it left a horrible oily residue and it wouldn't go away no matter how much you tried to buff it out. After posting on the forums, the manufacturer suggested that I waited at least 20 minutes for the wax to dry before I buff it out! That's just non-sense.
With Mothers Carnauba Wax, by the time you applied the last coat of wax. The first panel you applied it on is ready for you to buff it out. Again, for under $12, this wax is hard to beat. The shine is simply amazing!
The products I use to get the shine above was Meguiar's cleaner wax to remove the old wax and prep the surface for a new coat of wax. And then Mothers Carnauba wax was applied after the cleaner wax. This car is over 7 years old. Just remember I took care of the car inside and out from day 1. Car was always garaged also. And remember, Microfiber towels is very important. Use a MF towel to dry your car and a MF sponge to watch your car. This will keep the swirls away from any dark / black cars.
